AR Rahman Files Rs 10 Crore Defamation Case Against Surgeons’ Association - Here’s Why!
After the Chennai fiasco, another complaint has emerged against the legendary musician AR Rahman for not returning ASICON's payment. Rahman has filed a Rs 10 crore defamation case against the surgeons' association.
AR Rahman has slapped a Rs 10-crore notice against the Association of Surgeons India (ASICON) and urged them to issue a public apology for defaming him in connection with a 2018 concert that never happened. ASICON filed a complaint against the musician at the Chennai Police Commissioner's office for not refunding Rs 29.50 lakh to perform at the Annual National Conference of the Association of Surgeons of India in Chennai back in 2018. Now, Rahman's counsel, Narmadha Sampath, has announced that the musician never entered into any such contract with ASICON and has clearly denied that nor he was booked for any show neither he was paid any advance.
