An AR Rahman concert was held in Chennai, and unfortunately many fans could not attend because of overcrowding. Fans who also were able to get tickets found themselves among a huge crowd, and concertgoers complained online about a stampede and being suffocated. Event organisers for AR Rahman's Chennai concert ACTC Event, apologised to fans via a post on X saying "The incredible response, the overwhelming crowd made our show a massive success. Those who couldn't attend on overcrowding, Our sincere apologies. We take full responsibility and accountable."
