While fans eagerly await Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Lord Ram and Sita, social media influencer Anjali Arora has announced her silver screen debut as Sita in Abhishek Singh's directorial Shri Ramayan Katha. In a recent interview, the "Kacha Badam" fame stated that she competed with many actors to bag the role of Sita. She further added that as soon as she was confirmed for the role, she began her preparations by watching videos on Sita and also attending workshops for the same. Anjali also acknowledged that she is aware that her acting debut as goddess Sita will be compared to Sai Pallavi, who is also set to portray the role of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. She said, "I'm aware that comparisons are bound to be made, and who isn't afraid of comparisons? However, if I am compared to a Bollywood actress, I will be happy."
