A video of the shooting has surfaced online and it has gone viral across social media platforms, leaving Dhillon’s fans worried. The Indo-Canadian rapper-singer reassured his fans of his safety through a video and an Instagram story, stating, “I’m safe. My people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Your support means everything Peace and love to all.” He also shared a clip of himself singing his song “Sweet Flower”, which had its original audio released on his YouTube channel just a few days earlier.
