Tesla layoffs cut 10% of the people amid the cost-cutting and slowed EV demand. The EV company has now cut more than 40 people from its US growth content team. In the latest round of Tesla layoffs among the affected employees, Alex Ingram also started building the growth content team four months ago. The laid-off team was part of Elon Musk's early move towards traditional advertising and placing the company's content on other platforms or on X. According to a report, global team leader Jorge Milburn was also laid off among the 40 Tesla employees. The report said that Tesla CEO and tech billionaire Elon Musk said in response to the layoffs, "The ads were too far generic - could have been any car".
