Padma Awards 2018 concluded recently and without a doubt, it is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former Indian cricket captain who is stealing all limelight. Dressed in his Lieutenant Colonel uniform, MS Dhoni was captured marching past the dignitaries and audiences at the Rashtrapati Bhavan to receive Padma Bhushan award from President of India Ram Nath Kovind. The video of Dhoni walking like a proud Indian Army man is going viral on the social media. However, there is one ‘little’ celebrity who has challenged Dhoni in garnering more attention at the prestigious awards ceremony. She is none other than star cricketer’s three-year-old daughter Ziva Dhoni who along with her mother Sakshi had accompanied Dhoni at Padma Awards. Ziva is photographed posing with MSD’s Special Forces cap as the flamboyant batsman carries her in arms. Fans are flooded Twitter with family pictures of MS Dhoni from the event and we really do not mind it.
Dhoni was conferred with Padma Bhushan, country’s third-highest civilian award on March 2, 2018. Call it fate or mere coincidence but it was on this memorable date Dhoni guided India to lift 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup trophy!
“An honour to get the Padma Bhushan and receiving it in Uniform increases the excitement ten folds,” MS Dhoni writes. He further thanked the men and women in uniform in his heartfelt Instagram post, “Thanks to all the Men and Women in Uniform and their families for the Sacrifices they make so that all of us could enjoy our Constitutional Rights. Jai Hind.”

At the prestigious Padma Awards 2018 ceremony, the 36-year-old was accompanied by his wife Sakshi and three-year-old daughter Ziva and they were beaming up with joy. It was a matter of great pride for the family as Dhoni was presented with Padma Bhushan award from President Kovind.
After making a mark with his march past video, the Indian player was pictured taking memorable photos with Sakshi and Ziva. Sakshi looked gorgeous in canary yellow embellished saree while she dressed little Ziva in a floral printed summer dress.
The star couple were also photographed with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Dhoni was awarded Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, in 2009.
The cutest picture of the event was Ziva Dhoni wearing the maroon beret as Dhoni is an honorary lieutenant colonel in 106 Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army (TA). Ziva is pouting in this snap and we cannot stop going gaga over it! Dhoni fans are now looking forward to seeing more of cricketer's family in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 as he is all set to lead Chennai Super Kings (CSK)!
