Animal abuse is a rising concern recently after severe videos of humans torturing them are making headlines. And it is even more shocking to see that number is only increasing. A YouTuber, identified by his channel name Akatsukito, is captured being violent towards his cat. Not just that, the snippet of the clip shows the man laughing after allegedly killing the feline. The graphic video footage has gone viral with outraged Twitterati calling out YouTube to delete his channel. Twitter user Destiny shared the video, alleging that it was originally uploaded on YouTube by a channel named Akatsukito. According to him, the YouTuber recorded himself of abusing and then killing his cat, before sharing it online. He can be heard laughing, as the graphic footage shows the feline lying on the ground, dead. “Some viewers may find the following video disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised,” reads the disclaimer of the video.

The video received thousands of views and comments surfaced online. People began to call out YouTube to delete his channel and punish him for such a sickening act.

The video in question was removed later that day, but the account still remained.

At present, the YouTube channel has been terminated. "This account has been terminated for a violation of YouTube's Terms of Service," it states.

This incident has come after YouTuber Great Dog Mom was captured in uncut footage, where she was seen abusing her pet dog. The clip was quick to viral, as social media began to slam her. It even caught PETA’s attention, who accused her of animal abuse and demanded a shutdown of her YouTube channel. Followed by major criticisms, the YouTuber deactivated her Twitter account.
