Yatra.com, the online travel portal, has launched its new sequence of TV commercials featuring its brand ambassador, Bollywood superstar, Ranbir Kapoor. The new ad introduces two new customer-friendly features in a fun and entertaining manner using legendary Bollywood songs of Rishi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor with tailor-made lyrics. Ranbir is dancing on the songs that has perky and effervescent tonality, so as to make the ads fun to watch. Conceptualised by mogul ad agency, Ogilvy & Mather, the ad films reflect an exquisite blend of contemporary world with the timeless charm of Indian cinema.

Yatra has always endeavoured to make travel hassle-free, consistent and value-adding for the travellers. The two films highlight its eCash loyalty program and its unique feature of protecting customers from a drop in airfare post the customers making a booking. Along with traveller discounts on future bookings, eCash will now be transferable to friends and family as well as convertible into shopping vouchers from Yatra’s partners.

In the ad Ranbir is grooving to music composer Clinton Cerejo’s beats who has reworked on the classic tunes of the songs. The song is captivating and keeps the audience engaged and compels them to hum along. But it also reinforces Yatra’s brand message of being ‘India ka travel planner’. The ads also feature a karaoke style format for those who wish to sing along. The new TVC has been a hit among the fans on Twitter and they are drooling over Ranbir’s adorable dance moves.
