Mumbai, June 11: Xiaomi India has launched their latest ad campaign titled 'Naya Note' to promote Redmi Note 5 Pro in India, following its launch in February 2018. The tonality of the campaign is humorous, and it draws a similarity with the situation, which people across the country faced during November 2016 demonetisation announced by PM Narendra Modi.

During that time, Rs 500, Rs 1000 was pulled out from the market, and they were banned overnight. It created chaos, and panic like situation happened, as banks ran out of cash, and ATMs failed to dispense money, and there were serpentine lines in front of it. Social media was filled with forwards, and there were WhatsApp rumours, that a new note with a chip is getting launched in the market soon.

All these memories are brought back, in the new Xiaomi's ad as it highlights the mass hysteria among the masses with the launch of the 'Naya Note' or the new Redmi Note 5 Pro.
