Harley Davidson's Blue Edition became the world's most expensive bike at Rs 12.19 crores (excluding taxes and import duty). It has a retractable safe which consists of six-prong Heaven solitaire ring with 5.40ct diamond by Bucherer Fine Jewellery on the left side of the tank. And a custom-made Carl F. Bucherer watch sits on the right side. The luxury doesn't end there; it has gold-plated screws and throttle valves. It is also said to have 360 diamonds on it. The bike took 2,500 hours to be made.
2. World's Most Expensive Chocolate - Glorious
Coated with 23-carat gold 'Glorious' became the world's most expensive chocolate at 7728 Euro (approximately Rs 6,00,000). It was unveiled at the International Chocolate Festival in Óbidos, Portugal. The chocolate or bonbon is an equatorial mix of black Valrhona chocolate, saffron filaments, Périgord white truffle, white truffle oil, Madagascar vanilla, gold flakes, and a 'secret' ingredient. Aimed at the luxury market, only 1,000 bonbons pieces of the limited edition chocolate were made.
It is not just the chocolate, but the packaging too is luxurious. It used a black lacquered wooden base with gold serial number engraving and a crystal cloche. It is coated with thousands of Swarovski crystals and pearls, finished with a gold ribbon handle.
3. World's Most Expensive pair of Shoes - The Passion Diamond Shoes
The world's most expensive pair of shoes worth USD 17 million (Rs 123 crore) was launched in UAE this year. Made of gold it was embellished with hundreds of 15-carat diamonds. Named The Passion Diamond Shoes it was created by the UAE-based brand Jada Dubai in collaboration with Passion Jewellers.
4. World's Most Expensive Car - Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta
Zonda HP Barchetta from the house of Italian hypercar manufacturer that was sold at 15 million Euros (approximately Rs 120 crore) became the world's most expensive car. It made its official debut at 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed making, Sussex in England. The limited edition sports car is so luxurious that only three units were made.
5. World's Most Expensive Whiskey - Macallan Valerio Adami 1926
A rare bottle of scotch became the world's most expensive whisky at 1.1 million dollars (approximately Rs 8 crores). A 60-year-old Macallan Valerio Adami 1926 was sold for a record-breaking amount at Bonhams Whisky Sale in Edinburgh, Scotland earlier this October. It was bought by the vendor directly from the Macallan distillery for an undisclosed sum in 1994. The limited edition comes in a specially-commissioned cabinet.
6. Most Expensive Paan - Kohinoor Paan
Amidst cars, bikes and diamonds, a Kohinoor paan too managed to garner limelight for being the most expensive ever at Rs 5000. This one is no regular paan and is sold only to married couples to improve sex drive. Mohammed Sarfuddin Siddiqui at Tara Pan Centre in Aurangabad claims that the effect of the aphrodisiac served along with it lasts for two days. The pan has three compartments and comes in different versions for men and women. It also comes with a bottle of ittar which has to be applied on their pillows and bed.
7. World's Most Expensive Car License Plate - F1
The world's most expensive number plate 'F1' went up for sale in the United Kingdom in April. Owned by UK resident and Khan Design owner, Afzal Khan, the license plate for ownership at GBP 14,412,093.99. It cost a whopping Rs 132 crore! Kahn had bought the number plate last year for Rs 10.52 crore.
