In his typical Malayali style, Menon talks about the various ways which people use to kill time (Machhar Marna- a popular Hindi phrase) on social media. World Malaria Day is celebrated every year on April 25. Malaria is a life-threatening disease which is caused by mosquito bites. Malaria is caused by plasmodium parasite and is transmitted in humans through the bite of Anopheles mosquito. Once an infected mosquito bites a human, the parasites multiply in the host’s liver before infecting and destroying red blood cells. Kala Hit is doing a great job on social media to create awareness about this life threatening disease.
