Guy Beahm, popularly known by his online persona names, Dr Disrespect or The Doc, is a famous American online streamer who was banned from the gaming company Twitch back in 2020. However, at the time, neither Twitch nor Dr Disrespect stated the reason for the ban. Dr Disrespect had even taken Twitch to court over the matter. Now, almost four years after the incident, in a shocking statement, Dr Disrespect has revealed the reason for his ban. The American streamer had millions of followers on his social media handles when he was active on the site. He was known for playing various battle royale games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Apex Legends, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and more. Why Was Dr Disrespect Banned From Twitch?

Dr Disrespect, who had never shared any details about the ban so far, mentioned in a lengthy post on Elon Musk's X that he was banned for texting a minor. But for reasons out of his control, he was not allowed to reveal anything about the incident. In the post, he mentions that he sent messages to a minor that were deemed inappropriate. He further mentioned that he had no specific intention with those messages and that the conversation should never have happened in the first place. He states that no pictures were sent, no crime was committed, and no criminal charges were put against him. In fact, he had not even met the person. He went on to apologise and accept responsibility for his actions. In his post, Dr Disrespect addresses his haters and all those who have been trolling him. He says that he is no paedophile or predator and asks the haters to stop labelling him with such terms. Ever since Dr Disrespect was banned from Twitch, he turned to popular social media platform YouTube to stream his games and videos.
