Where do you think is the Great Wall of China located? 26-year-old Su Ayhan was asked the question on the Turkish version of the popular TV game show 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' (In India the Hindi version is known as Kaun Banega Crorepati?). Su who is an Economics graduate was given four options for the question which included China, India, South Korea and Japan. However, Su was terribly confused and used two lifelines to find the right answer.

After seeing the question, Su said that she knew the answer, but wanted to be sure about it. Hence, she took an audience poll in which 51 per cent of the audience members voted for China as the right location. Not convinced by the poor majority, she decided to use her second lifeline. To confirm where the Great Wall of China is located she call a friend. After being assured by the friend that the location is China she locked the final answer.

Although she answered the question correctly, she was heavily criticised on social media for not knowing the answer which was in the question itself. Social media users even questioned the education system in Turkey. While Su managed to answer the question correctly, she was eliminated for answering the next question wrongly.

The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications built between the third century B.C. and the Ming Dynasty (1384-1644). It is a network of numerous walls running 8,000 kilometres and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
