New Delhi, December 25: Delhi is shivering in one of the coldest winters in recent years but one Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has not stepped out wearing his trademark muffler. A Twitter user on Wednesday asked about "missing muffler" to Arvind Kejriwal. In response, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief said that he had taken off the muffler a long time back but this had probably gone unnoticed. "I had taken off the muffler a long time back. You didn’t notice. It is very cold. You all take care," Kejriwal tweeted in response to a query of the Twitter user who drew attention on his muffler. Kejriwal used to wear woolly scarf very often. He earned the tag of 'Muffler Man' and his critics even mocked him for wearing the muffler all the time in the early years of his political journey. Arvind Kejriwal Respond to 'Muffler' Query:
Prior to the 2015 Delhi assembly elections, the AAP ran a poll campaign with the tagline "Muffler Man Returns". Kejriwal indeed returned stronger and his party won 67 out of 70 seats in Delhi. When his office was raided by the Central Beauru of Investigation, Kejriwal had told reporters that all that officials of the anti-corruption team would find "unaccounted mufflers". Besides Kejriwal's muffler, his chronic cough problem had also become a talking point.
