If you are shocked after reading the headline, then don’t be. We are not kidding. In a case of necessity is the mother of all innovation, Ankinapally Chenchu Reddy a farmer from Andhra Pradesh has found a rather unique way to ward off people from eyeing his field. He has put up two big posters of the nation’s favourite Sunny Leone, that too dressed in a red bikini outside his farm plot. The poster also has a message ‘Orey, nannu chusi edavakura (Hey, don’t cry or feel jealous of me)!”

A farmer from Bandakindipally village in Nellore district, he is growing cabbage, cauliflower, okra, and chillies in his 10-acre plot. With a land and produce like his, it is bound to attract others and not necessarily with a good intention. To deal with people eyeing his farm and maybe cursing his produce, he came up with an idea to distract them instead! And this technique is actually working for him.

While talking to a leading daily Reddy was quoted, “Year after year, I would suffer losses because of a poor yield. The crops looked healthy for some time, but then something would go wrong. It then struck me that my farm is located next to a road and every passer-by can see it." Now with the sexy siren making an obstacle for people to see with an evil eye at his farm, Reddy is happy that his crops are yielding well.

He tried using the regular scarecrow effigies too, but Leone works better, probably with the uncommonness of seeing the adult star on a poster just on the road. We have been used to seeing celebrities adorn the walls of salons and parlours in the smaller areas, so why not a farm right? Also, this is not the first time Sunny Leone has done the attention-seeking. In 2016, Sree Narayana Polytechnic College in Kerala's Kollam district had put up a poster to welcome the new batch of students. This poster had adult film star Mia Khalifa along with Sunny Leone. The banner read ‘Welcome Freshers.’ And such things can only happen in our Incredible India.
