The infamous challenge hasn’t ended despite several warnings been issued by the police worldwide and have asked people to refrain from performing this hazardous stunt. And now Gujarat police have warned people after a Vadodara woman is seen doing the ‘Kiki, do you love me?’ challenge. Performers are seen grooving to the song, at the risk of causing road accident. The international trend was picked up in India last week which prompted Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Jaipur police to issue advisories to people to not engage in such dangerous activities. Vadodara’s middle-aged woman, Rizwana Mir, reportedly the mother of comedian Aamir Mir, has been the latest installment to the Kiki Challenge. The video is of last week and has gone viral and has prompted police to investigate the matter.

In an interview, Rizwana says, “The Kiki Challenge is not yet famous in Gujarat, but it is catching pace. My son is a comedian here in Gujarat and along with him I also participate in his comedy videos. We thought that we should also make a video on this challenge that is trending worldwide.” In the video, as Rizwana is dancing to the song, she is also seen yelling at the motorists, when cars begin honking behind her.
People who are not aware of this trend, Kiki Challenge involves people stepping out of a slow-moving car and grooving to a song by Canadian artist Drake with the opening lines, ‘Kiki, do you love?’ Mumbai police warned the citizens on Twitter and wrote: “Not just a risk for you but your act can put the lives of other at risk too. Desist from public nuisance or face the music! #DanceYourWayToSafety #InMySafetyFeelingsChallenge”
