Noida, January 16: In a shocking incident, Noida Police have found a dead person inside a car on Wednesday, suspecting that he might have died due to suffocation. The reason for the person’s death is speculated to the presence of brazier inside the vehicle, officials said.
Police have identified the person as Satender, a 26-year-old young man of Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh, who was found unconscious inside the car at Noida Sector 50 around 6 am by locals and later rushed to the hospital, but was declared brought dead. Informing more about the incident, police officer Girija Shankar Tripathi said, as reported by PTI, “He was rushed to a hospital but was declared brought dead by the doctors.”
Adding more, police said that Satendar was staying at Khoda colony in Ghaziabad with his in-laws for about a month and gave his vehicle for hire. Along with this, he had also started a fast-food kiosk near the upcoming metro station in Noida.
Tripathi said, “He had started the kiosk near the metro station only about a week ago when he shifted it from Khoda, eyeing the emerging crowd here. However, he was apprehensive of his kiosk getting robbed in the night so he used to stay there in his WagonR all night to keep an eye on it.”
“Last night, he apparently kept an angeethi (brazier) inside the car's floor adjacent to the driver's seat to keep himself warm. He then appears to have fallen asleep with the angeethi still burning, and windows rolled up. He was found unconscious in the morning and then taken to hospital where he was declared dead,” adding, Satender's family was informed in the morning, and the body was sent for a post-mortem.
