New York, October 25: A restaurant in the United States faced backlash after a Reddit user posted the bottom part of the diner's drink menu on social media. Reddit users slammed the diner for taking a stringent approach by imposing an additional fee on parents who were unable to manage their children's behaviour and for imposing whopping charges on groups of over six people, birthday menus, cashless pay and more.
One of the Reddit users google searched the restaurant after coming across the unbelieving demands written on the menu card of the diner and found shocking reviews. A customer who had visited the unnamed restaurant earlier wrote that the owner added $50 (approximately Rs 4,157) to his bill due to his children's behaviour. "My kids watched a tablet until the food arrived, ate their food, and my wife took them outside while I waited and paid the bill. I'm pretty sure the owner is doing drugs in the back. In another section of the menu, it said that cash was the preferred payment method over cards, and those who opted for card payments might incur additional charges as a penalty.
