Often traffic snarls create problems for commuters during the peak hours. But with the traffic halted due to some plane making an emergency landing on a busy four-lane road of Washington, commuters are bound to get surprised. This same incident took place in Washington on Thursday when a small plane made an emergency landing on a busy four-lane road.
According to a report, published by Huffington Post, a small plane descended toward Pacific Avenue in Spanaway, about 45 miles south of Seattle. However, it could make an emergency landing due to the Washington State trooper Clint Thompson efforts who was on patrol and cleared the road so the pilot could safely land. With the help of Thompson's emergency lights and cleared traffic, the plane eventually came to a measured stop right before an intersection with a red light.

Briefing more about the details, the pilot David Acklam told the local media, Probably saved me from either serious injury or death and somebody else from getting in a car crash with a plane. It’s a good day to be alive."
