Uganda's first deputy prime minister, who was trying to show his football skills to the audience, ended up becoming the subject of a meme doing rounds on social media.

Retired General Moses Ali, who is the Deputy Leader of his country, tumbled when he tried kicking the football. Though he managed to get up with the help of the guards, the moment was enough for him to become a social media sensation.

According to media reports, the incident took place when the minister was at the Namboole National Stadium in Uganda, to inaugurate a football tournament. Watch the video of the minister below, where he tumbles while trying to kick the football:

The overly obese retired General was in Namboole national stadium officiating one of the government functions when he was given a ball to show his footballing skills but instead got a fall of his life.

In the 30 second video, Moses Ali is given a ball to try out his footballing skills to which he consents but shortly loses balances as he tries to give the ball his best kick. He is soon helped by the guards, who manage to get the minister back on his feet, but not before he has fallen. Do not miss the expression of the guards and the minister when he falls down.
