Have you ever forgotten things in the cab or even a rickshaw while riding back home? There would be a plenty of yes and forgetting back something is definitely not a good feeling. Cab aggregator Uber has released the second annual Lost and Found Index. The list gives an understanding into the riders and their most forgotten items. The list is so detailed that it gives an average on which days the people tend to forget most things! While phones, lunchbox, sunglasses, keys are commonly forgotten items, this year's list has some unusual things and it is a little difficult to believe if people are actually turning so forgetful.

The frequently forgotten items list includes clothing, backpack, bags, e-cigarettes, headphones, ID cards, wallet which is understandable. We usually carry these things along rather than keeping them inside and tend to leave them behind. But the list of unique things forgotten in Ubers is not outrageous as they too state it!

  • Marriage certificate

  • Bulletproof vest

  • Flat screen TV

  • College diploma

  • Harmonica

  • Box full of hair extensions

  • A 1.3 carat round diamond

  • A bride’s veil

  • Gold grills with diamonds

These are just some things, the list also included letter from boyfriend who is in jail, detox tea, a slice of pizza, kids scooter among other things. Wonder how can people forget something as large as a flat screen TV or something prized like diamonds in a cab!

The company also found out the timing during which people tend to lose items. It says 11.00pm and 1.00 am is the time for most of the things! Too much of sleepiness? People travelling between the peak hours of 7am- 9am were aware of the things they were carrying along with them. The company also has a facility of contacting the people to retrieve your lost items.
