A two-year-old girl who was falling from the second floor of a building was saved a 17-year-old boy standing on the street. The chilling video has since then gone viral with people hailing the teenager as a 'hero'.
A video going viral on social media shows a shocking moment when a baby falling from a building was caught by a teenager. The chilling CCTV footage is from Faith district of Istanbul in Turkey. Reportedly the 'hero' teenager is a 17-year-old named Feuzi Zabaat. He was simply standing there when he saw a child falling to the ground from the window of the second floor. Feuzi looked up for a moment and realised that the girl is going to fall from the window at any moment. Thanks to his presence of mind, he stretched out his arms and caught the child in his hands. Feuzi is an Algerian immigrant and works at a frame workshop on the street. The 'alert' teenager garnered praises as the video went viral on social media. The two-year-old survived the accident without any injuries. When asked about the incident, Feuzi said that she did what was the need of the hour. While Doha was left unharmed in the incident, she was completely shaken. Locals could be seen comforting her after Feuzi caught her. According to reports, Doha fell from the second storey of her building's window after she climbed the wall on her own. Her mother was in the kitchen when the incident occurred. Following the incident, showing gratitude, Doha's family rewarded Feuzi with a gift of 200 Turkish Liras.
