In a recent announcement with regards to Air India, the cabin crew was asked to say "Jai Hind" after every announcement they make. A circular issued by Air India on Monday to the crew members read, "With immediate effect, all are required to announce "Jai Hind" at the end of every announcement after a slight pause and with much fervour.” The national carrier presently has around 3500 cabin crew and over 1200 cockpit crew, and the directive comes days after Ashwani Lohani took charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Air India once again. While this news garnered various kinds of reactions from people, some of them didn't shy away from making memes and jokes about the announcement.

Interestingly, Lohani had issued such a directive earlier also in 2016 during his previous tenure as Air India CMD, as per reports by ANI. Well, the memesters don't hold their horses for anyone, and they did the same with the announcement made by Air India.
