With this feat, Shami has become the second Indian to take a hat-trick in the 50-over tournament after former pacer Chetan Sharma, who bagged the hat-trick against New Zealand in 1987. Twitter congratulated Shami and praised him for the attempt. India will next take on West Indies on June 27. Today Pakistan will take on South Africa in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
