It has been 106 years since the Royal Mail Steamer (RMS) Titanic struck an iceberg and went down in the North Atlantic, south of the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. Nearly, 1,500 passengers and crew members died on April 15, 1912 during its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. Titanic was one of the three large ships built by the White Star Line, complete with 10 decks and 840 staterooms.
