We Indians boast of somethings which are so unique to our behaviour! We call it typical of Indians and it is not something we are ashamed of, to be honest. It has given rise to a hashtag of 'It happens only in India' and we so fondly use it. As the country is developing, several railway stations in the country are installing escalators for comfort. Now not everyone is comfortable with using these automatic leading stairs, but well, people do get used to it after a while. But a video from Kanpur railway station has surfaced online which will leave you in splits.

The video shows two middle-aged people using an escalator that is meant for going up as a means to come down. Both the man and the woman are seen struggling a bit as they escalator's steps keep going upwards and the two people want to make their way down. It is something as kids we all wanted to try, but these two are completely ignorant and try to get down very casually.

Check out the video from Kanpur Railway Station here:

There is a point when the woman stops and starts going up again with the escalator. The man who managed to get down awkwardly is seen laughing. It looks like the two enjoyed their ride down! What is funnier is others too are joining on getting down the same escalator. In fact, when the woman could not get down, another man came on to help her. The two are literally seen running down to get to the end of it. But it seems that it was a rather enjoyable experience for the man and the woman. The man had a good laugh while the woman struggled to reach down. Clearly, the purpose of this escalator has not precisely been served. Well, what can we say than repeat 'This Happens Only in India?'
