The joy of coming across a light and fun video amidst the body of lies and negative stories is a welcome change. In fact, this short interview with an elderly man from Australia will lift your mood. He narrated how a man from Bihar taught him to speak Hindi quickly and easily. He was asked to learn one or two words of Hindi and then ‘say it in English’ with the right accent! Wow, now that is a cool idea of speaking in Hindi.

The Australian man also shared about learning the language after staying in the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar for six years from 1972 to 1978. He has been a regular visitor in India. But the biggest surprise (read: SHOCKER) was when he spoke Bhojpuri…yes, proper Bhojpuri with the dialect and mannerisms in the right place. He repeated the original lines he would have heard from the Bihari man who taught him the language.

The man signed off by saying he is Hindustani at heart!
