Two from the North Pole are going viral on the internet after they took selfies on camera left by a human. The Antarctic Division said that the camera was left on the ice for a long duration by Eddie Gault, an expedition from the group. It wasn't long before two of the penguins found the camera and curiously looked at it. These penguins remind us of the Naruto, a rare crested macaque monkey from Indonesia who clicked his pictures from an unattended camera of British nature photographer David Slater.

Australian Antarctic Division posted the short clip on social media giving us a closer look at the penguins. The video was filmed at Auster Rookery, the Australian Antarctic Division in the North Pole near Mawson research station. Auster Rookery is home to a large emperor penguin colony.

In the clip, two of the birds can be seen approaching the camera and then flipping it over to their face with a kick. The curiosity doesn't there, the penguins the bend downwards and look into it. That's sure some level of interest in things not known! The video has been viewed more than 84,000 times in a day and a half with netizens commenting about the curious penguins.

The monkey's photographs had resulted in a lawsuit with  Wikimedia Commons publishing the pictures without crediting Slater stating it was work of a non-human.  People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) also argued that the macaque should be given the copyright. Later, Slater won the case in 2017 following a two-year legal battle after agreeing to donate a portion of future revenues on the photographs to wildlife organizations.
