The Simpson family is one of the most watched series with its 29th season being the longest-running American sitcom and animated program. Since its debut on December 17, 1989, the animation received widespread acclaim especially during its first nine to ten seasons which are generally considered its “Golden Age.” Not just the Simpson family but the entire team especially the writers have achieved the limelight. And Kevin Curran undoubtedly was the favourite. His accurate wit and hilariously cynical about everything offered a unique hysterical sight to the Simpson fan. A comedy writer and producer, Kevin Curran died in October 2016 at Los Angeles from complications with cancer.
He spent 15 years on The Simpsons and has given us some notable episodes that include 2005 Don’t Fear the Roofer and 2014 The Winter of His Content. And the recent and Curran’s last one was aired on Sunday night. Not much of a surprise, his script was bittersweet as ever. Bill Hader got busy weekend ahead of him, following up his gig with a trip to Springfield on Sunday’s episode. Twitterati reminisced and shared the excite with the announcement of the final episode written by long-time writer for The Simpsons, Kevin Curran.
