The Simpson family is one of the most watched series with its 29th season being the longest-running American sitcom and animated program. Since its debut on December 17, 1989, the animation received widespread acclaim especially during its first nine to ten seasons which are generally considered its “Golden Age.” Not just the Simpson family but the entire team especially the writers have achieved the limelight. And Kevin Curran undoubtedly was the favourite. His accurate wit and hilariously cynical about everything offered a unique hysterical sight to the Simpson fan. A comedy writer and producer, Kevin Curran died in October 2016 at Los Angeles from complications with cancer.
He spent 15 years on The Simpsons and has given us some notable episodes that include 2005 Don’t Fear the Roofer and 2014 The Winter of His Content. And the recent and Curran’s last one was aired on Sunday night. Not much of a surprise, his script was bittersweet as ever. Bill Hader got busy weekend ahead of him, following up his gig with a trip to Springfield on Sunday’s episode. Twitterati reminisced and shared the excite with the announcement of the final episode written by long-time writer for The Simpsons, Kevin Curran.

This is what the Simpsons Executive Producer had to say.
Under the credits, Homer is now a FULLY-LICENCED DJ, spinning records alongside DJ Daddy Towers Kevin Curran.

Yes, it is one of the best episodes.
And yes, if you’re asking, I think this is one of the best episodes of seaso 29 so far, next to Gone Boy. Kevin Curran ended his career on a great note. #TheSimpsons’ biggest strengths these days is when they go for original ideas.

The Simpsons has been criticized for what many perceive as a decline in quality over the years, since late 1990s. With the release, some even declared the recent episode to be the finest of all in the 29th season. Well, it is somewhat true that the show has lately lost its charm but the relationship that the family shares and the mysteries that Simpsons unveils still remain as a delight to many. And Kelvin Curran’s side-splitting insights will continue to rule the cartoon landscape.
