In a shocking incident of 'mob violence' in Telangana, a 54-year-old person was reportedly beaten to death by villagers for alleging raping a class 2 student. As per an ANI report, a case has been registered under section 302 IPC against villagers in Donkeshwar, who beat the man to death. Further investigation is on to nab the people guilty. Reportedly, the accused was thrashed, tied to a tree in the village centre and stones and sticks were hurled at him, till he collapsed in a pool of blood. It is suspected that a kangaroo court in the village sentenced him to ‘death by stoning’, which is quite common in villages.

Similar incident took place in Ghaziabad, where a man was brutally thrashed to death by a mob for raping an eight-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh. As per reports, enraged over the rape incident, a group of residents in the city lynched the rape suspect and allegedly thrashed him to death in Ghaziabad's Chaman Vihar Colony. After brutally beating him, the local residents handed him over to the local police. later, he was taken to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
