A video is going crazy viral on Twitter, after a Telangana cop shared it on account of road safety. The clip which has been viewed by thousands of people online shows an auto-rickshaw taking at least 24 passengers on board in the state. The cop which halted the rickshaw, can be heard asking the crowd to come out and stand in line and pose for a photograph. Nothing much has been revealed, apart from asking citizens to follow traffic rules. However, the viral video prompted another significant question. “People should take care of their own safety. They shouldn't board in overcrowded passenger autos unmindful of their safety,” tweeted the Commissioner of Police in Karimnagar. The rickshaw driver and passengers, including kids, can be seen visibly scared as the cop asks them to come out of the transport. They were further asked to pose for a photograph.

The video gained thousands of attention. While a few sections of Twitter lauded the commissioner’s move, others question the transport facility in the area. Looking at the viral responses, it appears that lack of transport facility is one of the main reasons for commuters being overcrowded. Not just rickshaws, but buses too sees too many people, with some sitting on the top, while travelling.
