After their Ekatvam ad on interfaith wedding had to be taken down just last month, their latest ad on celebrating Diwali also has not gone down well with section of the people online. Their new ad features Neena Gupta, Sayani Gupta, Alaya F and Nimrat Kaur four of them discussing how they wish to celebrate this Diwali. And looks like Tanishq has taken it down already, as the tweet has now been deleted. The new commercial of Tanishq ad was shared by the official account on Twitter yesterday. The ad shows Sayani Gupta, Alaya F, Neena Gupta and Nimrat Kaur talking about how they will be celebrating Diwali this year, amid the pandemic. While elaborating on what Diwali means to them, Sayani Gupta's statements have come across as 'preachy' to some. She says, "I am hoping to be able to meet my mum after really long. Definitely no firecrackers, I don't think anyone should light any firecrackers." Users have looked at it as a way to teach them how they should be celebrating the festival. While some states have imposed a firecracker ban amidst this COVID-19 situation, this ad has not been looked at too well.

While some section of the audience think it is not wise to call out to ad makers. They pointed out that it would be the actresses' opinion and should not be taken personally.
