While two of the world’s most fearless and iconic celebrities in the music industry – Rihanna and Beyonce – will be seen on the September cover of British Vogue and American Vogue, respectively, Vogue India has featured Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s 18-year-old daughter Suhana Khan in their latest August 2018 issue. The cover was announced by Shah Rukh Khan yesterday at Vogue Beauty Awards 2018 that was held in Mumbai. What has taken us by surprise is why has Vogue India shut off the ‘comments’ section on their Instagram page? Our wild guess is to protect the young girl from being trolled by ‘Nepotism’ comments.

In her first ever interview with the Vogue, Suhana admits that there is a flipside to be a part of the Khan family and that trolls do upset her. She said, “At home, things are normal, and everything is cool, but the challenges are outside. I still find it hard because people feel like they can judge you. Especially on social media. Pictures from my Instagram account get leaked. There are so many people talking about you. They don’t know you, and they don’t know what they’re talking about, but they’re just talking. And that can mess with your self-confidence.”

She further said, “I keep telling myself that haters are going to hate, but I can’t honestly say that I don’t get upset by it. It’s annoying, but I keep telling myself other people have bigger problems.” Well, while the magazine has disabled the comments section, netizens still managed to troll her on Twitter.

Twitterati Trolls Suhana Khan for Being on the Vogue Cover

Earlier, Suhana Khan was trolled for wearing a bikini and now her being on the cover of Vogue India cover has stirred a massive debate on social media. People have questioned the magazine as to why they would feature someone on their cover when they haven’t made any mark in the industry. We do agree to this though. She is in the limelight only for being a star kid, Bollywood’s romance king Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter.

There is no doubt that nepotism does prevail in the industry and Suhana being on the cover of such a prestigious magazine, even before entering the industry or any concrete achievements, is surely going to raise eyebrows. We are sure you might have tried commenting on Suhana's picture on Vogue India’s Instagram account. Obviously, you couldn’t. But you can let us know in our comments section, your opinions on Suhana Khan being on the magazine cover.
