World famous sand artist, Sudarsan Pattnaik has made a sand art of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his mother Heeraben Modi congratulating him for his big win. The artwork shows the Modi being blessed by mother with her hand on his head. Sudarsan took to Twitter saying, "Mother's blessings and love always inspire to serve. Mother India expects a lot from you, @narendramodi Sir! Heartiest congratulations for a historic win!" The sand art comes ahead of Modi's visit to Gujarat where he will be meeting his mother to seek blessings from her before he takes oath as the PM again.

After BJP rose back to power in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, Modi tweeted saying that he will be flying to his home state from where he won by nearly 4.8 lakh votes. PM Modi had tweeted saying, "Will be going to Gujarat tomorrow evening, to seek blessings of my Mother. Day after tomorrow morning, I will be in Kashi to thank the people of this great land for reposing their faith in me." In an interview to social media page Humans of Bombay in February, PM Modi had said that for his mother, him becoming the chief minister of Gujarat was a bigger milestone than being the Prime Minister of India. Talking about meeting his mother before he took oath as the chief minister of Gujarat, he said. "A lot of people ask me how my mother felt when I became PM, but by then the name 'Modi' was in the air, my photos were being printed and there was a lot of excitement all over. But I think the bigger milestone for her, was when I became CM."
