We see a lot of pet lovers, but few of them turn to the Indian breeds when it comes to owning one. A lot of dog owners get fancied by the foreign breeds and look down upon the Indian strays. In order to give the message of 'Adopt, don't shop,' an NGO Blue Cross organised The Great Indian Dog Show in Chennai. The ramp walk saw more than 100 stray dogs participating for 28 titles.
The message was clear to acknowledge the Indian dog breeds just as much. So the ramp walk saw dogs dressed in adorable costumes and striding on the ramp in all joy. Even the handicapped dogs took to walking the ramp and it made for a really cute sight for the audiences. Owners of stray dogs came with their pets all groomed and well-trained. Among the titles were best-sterilised dog, the best rescue dog, most wagging tail. Cuteness Overloaded!
