Mumbai, October 5: A recent spate of viral instances has shined light on disruptive passenger behaviour on planes. The newest addition to this trend is an incident involving Southwest Airlines, presently doing rounds on social media. The viral video of the incident, which was shared online, shows a Southwest Airlines flight attendant removing a couple from a plane. This was allegedly prompted by the flight attendant's observation of the woman performing 'drunk cartwheels' before boarding.
The flight attendant and an airline employee can be seen in the video barring the couple from boarding the plane before departure. The flight attendant repeatedly asks the couple to leave, claiming worries about 'compromising the aircraft's safety.' The video lasts more than three and a half minutes and begins with the flight attendant requesting the pair to exit. Throughout the video, the flight attendant and the couple have a heated exchange of words for several minutes, even while many other passengers are entering the plane to locate their seats. "You're flipping all over the ground; you're engaging; you're loud; you want attention from everybody... The couple's identity has not been revealed, and it is unknown whether they faced any extra consequences as a result of the incident. The incident reportedly occurred in June this year and was initially posted on Reddit.
