The Congress MP Shashi Tharoor was recently at the Parliament of Malaysia touring the building, especially its Lower House. The politician took to Twitter sharing pictures of him standing in front of the tall building and inside hits luxurious interiors. Tharoor who seemed clearly impressed by the rich maintenance of the building also felt a "pang of envy". Yeah, you have guessed it right, Tharoor felt a little jealous how the Indian Parliament was nowhere close to it. Comparing it to the Lok Sabha or Lower House inside the grand Indian Parliament in New Delhi, Tharoor said it needs an upgrade.

Drawing comparison between the two, he detailed several lack facilities in the country's lower house. He wrote how the in the lower house of Malaysia's Parliament each politician had their nameplates, plush leather swivel chair, laptop and mike. While in the Indian Parliament, they have to sit crammed on benches with no leg room.

Tharoor wrote on Twitter, "Visited the Malaysian Parliament &entered the empty chamber of the Lower House. Felt a pang of envy: Each MP has their own nameplate, plush leather swivel chair, laptop&mike. We in the LokSabha sit crammed on benches w/no leg room to stand, let alone swivel. Time for an upgrade!"

Here is the tweet:

Seems politician of the country has the same problem as all of us. So, is that the reason why many of them don't shun from going to the Parliament for long periods? While Tharoor's tweet throws light on the lack of proper facilities in Indian Parliament we wonder what would be the new word the English teacher has in store for his Twitter pupils.
