Congress MP Shashi Tharoor is actively teaching words from his vocabulary to people on Twitter. He has given another word 'Criticaster' to his followers and this one is more apt for the social media space. A criticaster means someone who is an incompetent critic. Tharoor has used the word well as a better word for trolls. On a medium like Twitter, there are a lot of people who want to and go out outrightly criticising what doesn't suit their ideas. Such trolls give rise to more criticism to any idea or a point that is being made. Celebrities and politicians are always encountered with trolls.

Tharoor tweeted the word with the meaning and wrote, "We do have a lot of criticasters on @TwitterIndia, but we call them trolls!" Like always some of the ardent followers of the leader thanked him for teaching the new word while the others started its usage. Look at some of the reactions given by the people on Twitter.

Here is Shashi Tharoor's tweet teaching a new word:

Deconstructing the newly learnt word

Some who love trolling were happy about the new synonym!

And the gratitude continues...

Shashi Tharoor and his dictionary or Shashi Tharoor, the new dictionary?

A lot of people pointed out at Rahul Gandhi being a criticaster and made usage of the same word in the comments. A lot of them also asked Tharoor if he himself was one of the 'criticaster.' Well, people do go and about the new teaching by the so-called English pundit! Just two days he had given the Twitter world another word called roorback.
