An exotic-looking orange-coloured bird that was rescued by UK animal rescue centre has baffled staff. While the officials first thought it was an exotic bird, they were shocked to realise, it was a seagull covered in curry! The Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital said that last week they had "no idea what to expect" when they received a call saying someone had found the orange bird on the side of a highway in Buckinghamshire. Flower or Bird? According to the hospital, the bird somehow got himself immersed in curry or turmeric which preventing it from flying properly. Members of the hospital's veterinary team "bravely" bathed him and cleaned his feathers. After giving the bird a good bath, the hospital shared 'Before' and 'After' pictures, showing its amazing transformation, from orange to white. Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire in a Facebook post said, "We have no idea how he got into this predicament but thankfully, apart from the vibrant colour and pungent smell, he was healthy!" The centre which is also a teaching hospital, in the post added, "This is one of the strangest casualty circumstances we have seen in a while." It further reads, "He is now looking much better and should be able to go for release very soon! This is not the first time, a seagull fell into the curry and made people think of it as an exotic creation. In 2016, a seagull had fallen into chicken tikka masala when it tried to have a good meal. The bird was taken to a nearby animal hospital where it was scrubbed clean.
