Uttar Pradesh, June 6: Dancer Sapna Choudhary's Bareilly show on June 3 has got few constables of Uttar Pradesh police in trouble after several policemen were caught on camera trying to take a picture of the dancer while she was performing in the show. The constables can be seen clicking pictures in the video at the cost of their duty and the video has gone viral.
It can be clearly seen in the video that the police constables were trying hard to be at the front while clicking the dancer as he performed on the stage:
This is not the first time that the police has been found lacking while at its duty in a Sapna Choudhary show. In May 2018, her dance show in Farrukhabad caused a massive turn out that saw organisers resort to lathi charge in order to control the crowds. According to reports, a number of people have received injuries owing to the lathi charge by organisers in Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad district. It is reported that the police present at the venue was busy in getting pictures clicked with the dancers in the show, while the bouncers were badly taking a swing at anybody in sight in the crowd.
The reporters at the venue questioned the authorities on the dance show exceeding the time limit. As per reports, the permission for the show was only up to 7 pm but the organisers continued with the programme late into the night that lead to excessive crowd gathering at the spot after which the organisers lathi charged the crowds. Quite a number of spectators got injured and few received severe injuries in the lathi charge.
According to media reports, the policemen who ignored their duty to take selfies at the Bareilly event of dancer Sapna Choudhary have been asked to present themselves and explain their behavior to Police authorities in Lucknow.
