The Netflix series Sacred Games set new standards for Indian creative content producers and soon became the Indian Twitterati's favourite show. Directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, the show went on to be critically successful and garnered praises from audiences. The series which is an adaptation of Vikram Chandra's 2006 book by the same name was much lauded on social media too. Internet users were all praises for the characters and their uniqueness so much so that meme maker couldn't keep calm.

From Cuckoo ka Jadoo to loyal Katekar, to the badass Gaitonde, and the helpless Sarjat Singh, everyone became Indian Twitterati's favourite meme material. Katekar played by Jitendra Joshi is like a Watson to Sherlock. Katekar is ever ready to assist his senior played by Saif Ali Khan. For those who haven't seen, Katekar can arguably be called the 3 am friend and who is more dedicated to serving his senior than work actually. And now what has come to the notice of the Twitterati is a coincidental relation that Jitendra Joshi aka Katekar has with the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

In the second episode, Halahala, Katekar's wife who is not very fond of her husband's workaholic nature, asks him why he had to risk his life during the Mumbai terror attacks. She also enquires about the compensation money he is yet to receive for the treatment of the bullet he took on his back ten years ago. While the scene rests after Katekar answers that the money will come soon, the cop was actually present in the 'The Attacks of 26/11'.

Joshi played a police constable in Ram Gopal Varma's 2013 Bollywood movie starring Nana Patekar based on the attacks that Mumbai witnessed in 2008. In the movie, Joshi reaches Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station (CST) after being attacked by two terrorists. Dear Netflix, Fans are Trending 'We Want Sacred Games 2' on Twitter and We Stand By Them!
