Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service Calls Small Breasts a ‘Physical Defect’; Sparks Outrage on Social Media
'Having Small breast in Russia makes you DEFECTIVE!!', read a tweet.
In a recent infuriating event in Russia, a billboard for a property company was seen using a picture of a woman in a bra to advertise flats and the billboard tried to project that the woman has smaller boobs. The picture had the woman look aghast while measuring her bust size with a measuring tape.
According to reports by Daily star the company was trying to say that their building had "small prices and lots of complexes". It sparked outrage as it was considered body-shaming to women for all the right reasons and even Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service agreed to say the ad was body-shaming. However, what is even more angering is the fact that FAS said that small breasts were a physical defect. According to Daily Star, the FAS said an "expert council found the advertisement points to physical defects in women (small breasts)". This has sparked outrage and people are hitting back at the FAS.
Here are a few reactions from Twitterattis.
