A milkman in Mumbai, Pandurang Vishe, who used to travel daily on his bike for 7 kms to distribute milk by his bike, has now switched to a horse for distributing milk due to the rising fuel prices. In a video, it can be seen that the farmer, who earlier relied on his motorcycle for selling milk has bought a horse and now prefers doing his business with the help of the horse rather than his motorcycle.

Here is the video of Pandurang Vishe, who bought a horse in order to get rid of the rising petrol and diesel prices which he incurred while doing business:

Meanwhile, Fuel rates continue to rise for the 11th day in a row on Thursday, taking the cost of petrol and diesel to a record high. In Mumbai, one litre of petrol is at Rs 85.29/litre as compared to Wednesday's rate of Rs 84.99. The diesel rate in the city is at Rs 72.96/litre. The cost of petrol in Delhi today is at Rs 77.47/litre, and those having diesel cars will have to dish out Rs 68.53 per litre.

In Kolkata too, petrol prices have shot to Rs 80.12 and Rs 80.42 in Chennai. Diesel rates in Kolkata are at Rs 71.08 and Rs 72.35 in Chennai.

The GST, which subsumed over a dozen central and state levies including excise duty, service tax and VAT, was implemented from July 1 but crude oil, natural gas, petrol, diesel and ATF were kept out of its purview for the time being.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday said that the fuel prices will come down once the Centre builds a consensus to bring petrol and diesel under the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

"We have decreased our taxes already but now rates are going up due to rising crude oil prices in international market. So we are trying to make a consensus in GST Council on bringing petroleum under GST, that will decrease the price," Fadnavis said while replying to rising petrol and diesel prices in the state.
