A Chinese blogger's attempt at eating a live octopus on camera failed miserably when the octopus attacked her back. She was left screaming in pain as she tried to get rid of the octopus and its tentacles from her face. Her attempt at getting popular with her trick has backfired on her in a way that people are left laughing at her stunt. Video of the incidence was shared on social media and is now going viral. Chinese video blogger and host is better known as 'seaside girl Little Seven', was live streaming on a video platform Kuaishou her attempt at eating a live octopus. The octopus was seen squirming as she tried to devour it. And just as she prepared to take a bite of the sea creature, she was attacked by its tentacles. For the initial few moments, she tried to convince that nothing was wrong and the octopus was just trying to suck. But when the reality hit her, she was left screaming in pain. Initially, she did not appear to be afraid of its tentacles but as she realised it was sucking into her face, panic showed. The blogger is heard saying, "I'll eat it in the next video," but realises the octopus made a small cut on her face. She tries too hard to get the tentacles off her face and is later even seen crying, "My face is disfigured." The blogger has put up live streaming videos in the past in which she is seen eating cooked lobsters and crayfish. But her apparent attempt to become famous by eating an octopus failed.
A properly grown Octopus has about 280 suckers on each of its arms and each sucker has thousands of chemical receptors. They use their long tentacles to wrap around other animals and use it to their defence from an attacker.
