We can't forget the iconic scene from 3 idiots when Amir Khan, Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan gatecrash Kareena Kapoor's elder sister's wedding to eat free food, not knowing it was their principal Boman Irani's daughter's wedding. An incident at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Kurukshetra has made us recall the hilarious scene from themovie. The authorities at the institute are in the news for issuing a warning to its students against "gate crashing" weddings near its premises. The warning asked them not to become a part of such notorious activities. "It has been reported that some of the students have been going to attend weddings in the city without having an invitation. This is not only unethical and immoral but also uncalled for," a letter sent to hostel inmates by the Chief Warden said. Sources in the institute said that off late there have been complaints that students have been gatecrashing weddings to skip meals in the mess which is why this directive was issued. However, do you think this may be an outcome of the influence of the popular 3 idiot scene? Famous 3 Idiots-Inspired 'Rancho Wall' to Be Demolished by Leh School, Entry of Tourists Banned.

Take a look at the scene from the 3 idiots:

This shows that the condition went so out of hand that the people in authority had to be involved.  The letter directed students to refrain from indulging in such type of "uncivilised activities" which also brings a bad name to the institution. The letter warned students of disciplinary action if they are found doing so. The letter read: "Disciplinary action as per the institute rules will be taken against the students if they are found indulging in such an activity." It will be interesting to see if the students abide by the rules or not.
