Jalore, November 22: In a bizarre incident, a woman Sarpanch in Rajasthan's Jalore climbed a JCB machine during anti-encroachment drive on Thursday. According to reports, Rekha Devi, the woman sarpanch along with other officials went for an anti-encroachment drive, when suddenly a trespasser took control of the JCB and tried to land it on Devi’s car. The entire incident has been recorded on the camera, and the video is doing rounds on social media.
The sarpanch then climbed the JCB to save her car. In the video, it could be seen that officials present at the spot, pulled Devi down. The incident took place in Mandwala gram panchayat. In August, a JCB operator succumbed to injuries sustained during a clash that broke out between the police and villagers during an anti-encroachment drive in Taausar village of Nagaur district of Rajasthan. The anti-encroachment drive was carried out on the High Court's order on the land of the Tausar Gram Panchayat.
