Jaipur, January 11: Looks like Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot-led government in Rajasthan is taking the corruption charges way too seriously. Recently state Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Ashok Chandna pulled up a cop after he received several complaints that police is extracting money from villagers at a toll plaza in Bundi district. He even threatened the cop, stating he would spoil the latter’s career, if heard again of taking the bribe.
In the video surfaced in the social media, it was seen that the minister reached the spot and after listening to people’s grievances, scolded the cop and warned him not to repeat the same. Chandna also asked the police officer to mend his ways or be ready to lose the job. I will get your removed from the police and get you a job at the toll.” Adding on, he said, “If I get to know that you take 100-100 rupees from the poor, your job will be in danger. Consider this as my last warning to you.”
