A shocking video has surfaced online, which shows a sixth month pregnant woman being shot, while she is singing at a public event in Pakistan. According to ANI, the deceased named, Samina Sindhu, was singing at a festive ceremony in Sindh province, but just as the event progressed, she got a request from a man, named Tarique Ahmed Jatoi in the crowd to stand and sing. The singer apparently refused to accept the demand, because of her pregnancy. However, later in the video, she is seen to comply to his demands and she stands. The attendees can be seen showering money on her, however, within moments, she is shot dead by the man, who was reportedly in an intoxicated state and couldn't take the singer's refusal in the right way.

The video clip, which appeared on Larkano News, was shared on Twitter by one Islamabad-based human rights activist, Kapil Dev. According to ANI, the singer was taken to the hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries. Her husband has demanded that the accused be charged of double murder case, one for killing his wife and also his unborn child. Reportedly, the acussed has been arrested and an investigation is underway.
