Some netizens claimed that he was Home Minister Amit Shah's grandchild while some said that he was just a visitor. But the mystery was revealed a while later, the baby was Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Satyanarayan Jatiya's grandson.
Jammu & Kashmir National Conference leader Omar Abdullah tweeted that this was PM's response to critics who were demanding him to attend parliament to clarify Trump's claim. "Cute pictures. While the opposition parties yell themselves hoarse demanding the PM explain last night's mediation brouhaha he lets them know what he thinks of their demand by putting pictures like these on his Instagram feed," Abdullah tweeted.
This is not the first time PM Modi has been photographed with the baby. But the fact that he called him "special friend" made social media users wonder.
